Rent-a-Goatscaper
Hello everyone, and welcome to our soft launch!
We're starting our new Rent-a-Goatscaper program. Let's get into it!
Most goat-rental businesses are targeted to land owners of 5+ acres, and big companies. These jobs are usually $1,500 - $50.000. We want to make this service more affordable and at a much smaller scale, so everyone gets to enjoy it. We will keep our prices as low as possible, as usual, our goats are a dwarf breed, so they will always be smaller than a medium size dog, and very friendly, to ensure that you never overpay to have an amazing time with farm pets! Now, of course, our few goats won't eat as much as the 500 goats that big companies bring, but they surely will love to target those problem areas, or simply get rid of your tall grass! All while being adorable and extremely manageable! Now, down to the fun part!

Your Team of Goatscapers
Vincent Van GoatVinny is pretty and he knows it! He is our chunkiest boy, and the goat that started all this craze! He will definitely get rid of the toughest spots! He loves nose scratches and food!
|
Punkin PiePunkin is the definition of a proper lady! Very sweet, easy going, and quiet. She's a fast eater and keeps the team on the same page!
TitoTito is here! He's our most spoiled goat. Borderline entitled. He -demands- attention and all the pets. Probably will try to steal the treats, but he will also fall asleep on your lap. Not the most efficient worker, but certainly the funniest!
Beware, he loves to silently eat shoelaces :) |
StellaThis little one is a wild one!! She's in her teens, at the moment and has all the energy that comes along with it! She's not a fan of fast movements, but it doesn't take much to earn her trust. The treats will do the trick! we got her as a teenager, so we need to teach her that people are good. She's doing amazing already!
More team members coming soon! |
Do's & Dont's
Do:
- Have fun! Goats are amazing pets and hilarious! This program is basically an excuse to pet goats :) plus some fluffy landscaping.
- Approach the goats with treats first to make them immediately like you, works like a charm.
- Supervise all kids and teens to make sure everyone is being gentle and safe.
- Pet them for as long as you'd like.
- Be careful with their horns. Keep faces (specially eyes) away from the pointy end :)
- Give them goat feed at any time of the day.
- Take as many selfies with them as you'd like!
- Make sure that, if tethered, the will not be able to reach another tethered goat and get tangled.
- Keep their water clean and preferably under some form of shade.
- Make sure, if the temperature is above 85 degrees, that they have shade.
- Spray our lavender spray on plants that you would like the goats to avoid.
- Call or text us at 301-366-9965 or 703-434-2659 at any time of day or night with any concerns at all. We're always available for our pets and clients.
- Leave any children unsupervised with the goats.
- Let dogs run free, chase, or sniff the goats up close, All interactions must be 10+ feet away and on a leash held by an adult.
- Feed the goats anything besides their grass areas and goat feed,
- Pick up the goats with pointy horns.
- Tether goats where they can reach another one's leash. They will definitely get tangled.
- Spray our lavender spray on the goats.
- Take the goats outside of the fenced area, even with a leash held by an adult. All goats are to remain together and in the area agreed on upon arrival.
- Try to fight with Vinny, he will enjoy it too much and he's sassy enough already :)
- Have visitors come in unsupervised through the fence gates, as they could leave it open and the goats will try to escape immediately. We've had quite a few close calls already.
